"Don't Get On The Scale, Look In The Mirror" - How T.J. Lost 70lbs with PureBody

"Don't Get On The Scale, Look In The Mirror" - How T.J. Lost 70lbs with PureBody

Name: T.J.
Start Weight: 290 @ 6'1"
Lowest Weight: 220

Current Weight: 230 (10lbs of added muscle)

I met T.J. in my store at the beginning of his journey. T.J. says he's 6'1", but it sure seems that he is taller. TJ weighed in at 290 pounds at the start. His goal was to loose 70lbs. He accomplished that goal and dropped down to 220. He then realized he wanted to add a little more muscle and now sits at a muscular and fit 230.

His original goal was an extremely honorable one. He told me he wanted to be in better overall health and be able to chase his daughter around. The funny thing is that even though TJ is in better health and gotten faster, his daughter is still a lot to keep up with, but that seems to be the case with little girls. It is funny to see a 6'1" musclehead trying to keep up with a cute little girl that is about 2' tall and weighs 25 pounds. Overall he added about and inch and a half total to his arms, chest, and legs after loosing the body fat.

In His Own Words: TJ's ADVICE

"Getting started is tough, but worth it. You don’t see the results fast, but it will come. Working out and eating right is like anything else. It’s how bad do YOU want it. The only thing that stands between trying to look good and succeeding is YOU. You have to work for it like you work for everything else, and the payoff is amazing. The only thing that helped me is start with small goals to achieve, then work toward the end. Don’t start off with something impossible, like trying, to lose 70 pounds in two months. Focus on losing 10 or 15 pounds then reset and set another goal. Also, don’t get on the scale and weigh yourself, look in the mirror for results."
